When you hear the term “cryptocurrency”, probably the first thing that comes to mind is Bitcoin, the most popular cryptocurrency out there. Bitcoin may be the most popular, but it certainly isn’t the only digital currency making waves at this time. There are well over 100 cryptocurrencies available at the moment, with numerous new ones being born almost on a daily basis; however, most of them are just poor copycats of Bitcoin, adding no real value to the market, so they fail to get traction and eventually die within days, weeks or months, at best. Cryptocurrencies that do survive, though, start gaining popularity, and are in for the long run. One of the best examples of such currency, and probably Bitcoin’s fiercest competitor, is Ether – a cryptocurrency that is trending right now and has seen a massive growth over the past few months, which made it one of the most interesting options for miners.
If you have an iPhone 5 or later, an iPad 4 or iPad Mini or later, an iPod Touch 5, or a Mac released in 2010 and beyond, you should be able to use Airdrop with no problems. Your Mac must be running at least OS X Lion. And if your iPhone is running anything older than iOS you’re simply doing it wrong (update your phones!).

AirDrop is enabled by default, however you can turn it off by tapping on the AirDrop option in the all-new Control Center. You also have the option to make yourself discoverable to everyone or people in your contacts.
More recently, Apple was awarded a patent for an NFC-based cross-platform data transfer system very similar to AirDrop. Instead of using Bluetooth to initiate the device handshake and authentication, the patent relied on near field communications. Like AirDrop, however, the end result is the creation of an ad-hoc wireless network over which files can be transferred.
Caveat emptor and moral hazard are fine arguments in favor of no rules regarding ICOs and cryptos, but if the market wants to keep growing, it will need to do more to attract consistently larger pools of capital.
The simplest vulnerability with any password container is theft or loss of the device. The chances of this happening, or happening unawares, can be reduced with physical security measures such as locks, electronic leash, or body sensor and alarm. Stolen tokens can be made useless by using two factor authentication. Commonly, in order to authenticate, a personal identification number (PIN) must be entered along with the information provided by the token the same time as the output of the token.
Another very important thing to consider about Zcash block rewards is the developer’s share of all of the blocks that will be mined before the first halving occurs. Each PoW block is being divided 80% for the miners and 20% to the Zcash team until the first halving occurs when 100% of the mined coins will go to the miners. This makes the regular block reward of 12.5 ZEC divided as 10 ZEC per miners and 2.5 ZEC for the Zcash team initially. When you take the slow start with linearly growing block reward this will make the actual block reward going to miners in the first days even smaller…

Mining is at the Core of the Zcash network. Put simply, Zcashs network of computers around the world mine to find blocks while simultaneously validating transactions and securing the network. For this work a miner can receive Zcash (ZEC) in return for their computers efforts. (this is a very-very basic definition of mining, for a more detailed of what mining is and how it works read this article on coinbase or watch this video)
