For AirDrop to work properly, you need to be signed in to an iCloud account, have Bluetooth enabled on your device, and be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Additional configuration options are available in the iOS 7 Control Center. To access Control Center, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. You will see a window similar to the picture below. Bluetooth can be enabled by selecting the icon in the middle of the top row.
The diff change value is calculated by looking at the current difficulty and comparing it to the 12 hour moving average of the difficulty one month ago. For smaller coins the diff change can sometimes be inaccurate due to a wildly fluctuating difficulty.
Some initial public offerings (IPOs), such as Box’s in early 2015, attract a lot of attention that can skew valuations and the judgments professionals offer on short-term returns. Other IPOs are less high-profile and can offer investors a chance to purchase shares while a company is severely undervalued, leading to high short- and long-term returns once a correction in the valuation of the company occurs.
When purchasing mining hardware, you will want to look at these metrics: Th/s and W/GH. Th/s, or sometimes Gh/s, measures a miner’s terahashes (Th/s) or gigahashes (Gh/s) per second and is called hash rate. A higher hash rate means a more powerful miner. You can use this simple calculator from Bitcoin Wisdom to determine how much money an amount of hash power will earn per month.
Pull up the “Control Center” panel on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch by placing your finger below the screen and moving it upward. You can see whether AirDrop is enabled by looking at the “AirDrop” status As AirDrop relies on Bluetooth, it’ll be off if Bluetooth is disabled.
An IPO is a onetime sale with multiple intermediaries involved in the process of determining the conditions, pricing, etc., whilst ICOs can have multiple rounds of fund raising, with few if any intermediaries, the white paper the blueprint.
From my testing I found that no, AirDrop does not compress photos or videos. It doesn’t even change the name of the files. I really do remain impressed with AirDrop, exchanging files between Apple devices is so easy/fast and now knowing that it doesn’t compress data makes it so much more useful.
There are a lot of user-submitted crypto mining benchmarks out there. Our methodology is simple. We ran these systems 24×7 for 72 hours and averaged the last 12 hours. That is an important feature because NVIDIA Pascal GPUs will throttle under heat so the first 20 minutes of mining can be much faster than full heat-soak. We have a nvidia-docker mining container to simplify mining so we can deploy it on our cluster machines and provide consistency.
At the moment everyone is talking about the upcoming launch of Zcash (ZEC) crypto and there is a lot of hype and interest from users, miners, investors etc. It seems however that many people are still not aware of some of the specifics of Zcash, especially regarding the slow start that is being implemented. The launch of the mainnet of Zcash is planned for tomorrow – October 28th and that goes for mining as well and due to the serious interest the network hashrate of Zcash should be huge right from the start as everyone will be willing to get in early. That however may not be the best thing to do and let me tell you why…
If you have built Zcash (ZEC) MiningRig as per my instruction you will be easily able to mine. With the current rate and profitablity and adding electricity cost you will be easily able to mine $960/month.
largely unregulated — for now. I predict the SEC’s anti-fraud provisions apply (Rule 10b-5) and the SEC will formally announce that that is the case. Why? Because they did the same thing for credit default swaps. (3) Top Wall Street law firms issued strong legal opinions that credit default swaps were not securities. The SEC later issued a statement that anti-fraud provisions would apply regardless.
A miner is a computer set up with that specific purpose in mind – to go through transactions and solve the algorithms as efficiently as possible. For their efforts, miners are rewarded with small amounts of said currency. Mining typically requires a tremendous amount of processing power, and used to be done using the CPU or the GPU, depending on the currency. CPU mining was popular a while back, with the rise of Bitcoin, but started becoming obsolete when chips designed specifically for mining appeared. These chips, known as ASICs (application-specific integrated circuit) and FPGAs (field-programmable gate array), usually provided significantly better mining performance, and quickly became the go-to options for people looking to go into the mining business, as they outperformed CPU mining and were able to keep up with the constantly-increasing difficulty of mining. This is how Bitcoin mining slowly moved from the masses to specialized groups that were willing to invest in dedicated mining hardware.
