With the rising cost of living, it’s imperative that we invest, whether that’s $10,000 or $100,000. And, obviously, when we invest our hard-earned dollars, we want to generate high returns while enduring little risk.
Images with less than 32 bits of color depth follow a particular format: the image is encoded as a single image consisting of a color mask (the “XOR mask”) together with an opacity mask (the “AND mask”).[not in citation given] The XOR mask must precede the AND mask inside the bitmap data; if the image is stored in bottom-up order (which it most likely is), the XOR mask would be drawn below the AND mask. The AND mask is 1 bit per pixel, regardless of the color depth specified by the BMP header, and specifies which pixels are fully transparent and which are fully opaque. The XOR mask conforms to the bit depth specified in the BMP header and specifies the numerical color or palette value for each pixel. Together, the AND mask and XOR mask make for a non-transparent image representing an image with 1-bit transparency; they also allow for inversion of the background. The height for the image in the ICONDIRENTRY structure of the ICO/CUR file takes on that of the intended image dimensions (after the masks are composited), whereas the height in the BMP takes on that of the two mask images combined (before they are composited). Therefore, the masks must each be of the same dimensions, and the height specified in the BMP header must be exactly twice the height specified in the ICONDIRENTRY structure.

Mac users must check their Security & Privacy settings in System Preferences to ensure their Firewall is not set to “Block all incoming connections”. If it is then you should disable it for the current AirDrop session, before re-enabling it once again.
ICO file format is also similar to the .ICNS file format that is used for icons on Macs. An icon library can be made to package .ICO files by creating a file with an .ICL extension. In web design, an .ICO file can be used to create a small website logo which appears next to the URL in the address bar.
At the beginning you could effectively mine Zcash with just a CPU, but due to advancements in software GPU’s have a huge advantage over CPU’s. You can still use a CPU to mine but your return will be very low, so all of the serious miners use GPU rigs. GPU miners will often fall into one of two camps:
On the GPU side, we are going to use the Claymore miner. Claymore has a long-standing reputation for optimizing miners and this miner speaks for it. It improves the hashing rate considerably and that is why we are going to take the time to download and use this miner as well. The genoil miner only works for pool mining and with AMD graphic cards. This miner charges a 2.5% developer fee. Every hour the miner mines for the developer during 90 seconds. However, the performance increase is well worth the fee charged. If you don’t agree with the dev feem, don’t use this miner
My Bitcoin/BTC Genesis Mining contract is doing very well, I have almost ROI’d in only a few months, my Monero/XMR mining contract w/ GenesisMining is not doing so well . . since they are holding all XMR payments! If you’d like to signup using my 3% off code use this code at checkout = p7Yi4l
There are few, if any, restrictions on who can participate in an ICO, assuming that the token is not, in fact, a security. And since you’re taking money from a global pool of investors, the sums raised in ICOs can be astronomical. A fundamental issue with ICOs is the fact that most of them raise money pre-product. This makes the investment extremely speculative and risky. The counter argument is that this fundraising style is particularly useful (even necessary) in order to incentivize protocol development.
Bitcoin mining is the process of making computer hardware do mathematical calculations for the Bitcoin network to confirm transactions and increase security. As a reward for their services, Bitcoin miners can collect transaction fees for the transactions they confirm, along with newly created bitcoins. Mining is a specialized and competitive market where the rewards are divided up according to how much calculation is done. Not all Bitcoin users do Bitcoin mining, and it is not an easy way to make money.
Are you a broker yourself? None of my business but I am curious to ask this question. I am looking to invest with a handful maybe less of trusted individuals so that we could all capitalize equally and distribute the take when reached at a certain amount goal. What would be the best option to take here? I am looking to invest and have a generous return from the market in which I invest. The point of this is however, who or what or where do I (we) invest the funds in to seek back a return? For me personally I am looking to pay off some debt I have and invest in buying a home in the next 5 years.
A CPU core can execute 4 32-bit instructions per clock (using a 128-bit SSE instruction) or 8 via AVX (256-Bit), whereas a GPU like the Radeon HD 5970 can execute 3200 32-bit instructions per clock (using its 3200 ALUs or shaders). This is a difference of 800 (or 400 in case of AVX) times more instructions per clock. As of 2011, the fastest CPUs have up to 6, 8, or 12 cores and a somewhat higher frequency clock (2000-3000 MHz vs. 725 MHz for the Radeon HD 5970), but one HD5970 is still more than five times faster than four 12-core CPUs at 2.3GHz (which would also set you back about $4700 rather than $350 for the HD5970).

Was curious abt the motherboard for this rig, been reading a lot of bad reviews on it. I really want to build a 13 GPU rig over time, got the 8 GPUs on the way now deciding on which mobo. Have either of you had any issues with the risers touching either on the mobo or getting GPU errors from running the rig. Thanks!!

The ICO participants are invested in the success of the project. They can help get the word out and raise awareness in the broader community. They also provide early liquidity for the cryptocurrency tokens when they start trading. The ICO participants are also usually motivated by a profit potential if the project takes off and the tokens become worth more than the ICO price.
The term may be analogous with “token sale” or crowdsale, which refers to a method of selling participation in an economy, giving investors access to the features of a particular project starting at a later date. ICOs may sell a right of ownership or royalties to a project, in contrast to an initial public offering which sells a share in the ownership of the company itself. Amy Wan, a crowdfunding and syndication lawyer, described the coin in an ICO as “a symbol of ownership interest in an enterprise—a digital stock certificate”. In contrast to initial public offerings (IPOs), where investors gain shares in the ownership of the company, in ICOs, the investors buy coins of the company, which can appreciate in value if the business is successful. These coins are sometimes “pre-mined”, eliminating the need for proof of work. Often contributions are capped at a certain value and depending on how long the ICO lasts, on a per-day basis. Conversely, those same coins can depreciate if the company does not perform.
Since no mining-optimizing cards are available yet, real-life performance numbers are not available yet, but they are expected to be roughly on par with their non-mining versions, probably slightly higher. However, power consumption is expected to be somewhat lower, and stability should be increased. The announced mining cards built specifically for crypto mining are listed below:
Any socket 1150 Intel CPU will work for mining, even the cheapest Celeron. If you want to use the rig for office work, web browsing, streaming video/music while it mines then I suggest an i3 from that generation.
