One major surprise that has the potential to change the cryptocurrency scene forever is the recent announcement made by both AMD and NVIDIA, in which they indicated that they are looking to officially focus on the mining segment, and release mining-optimized cards. At a first glance, this may not seem as much of a news piece, but if you give it a bit of thought, the implications are huge: first and foremost, it indicates an official acknowledgement and support of cryptocurrencies and their importance, which, coming from two of the biggest companies in the tech industry, will stabilize the currencies and allow for wider adoption; secondly, by designing mining-specific hardware, AMD and NVIDIA are supporting mining enthusiasts and making mining more affordable, thus making it more accessible to the general public as well.
The ability to read PNG images from ICO and CUR format images was introduced in Windows Vista. A PNG image can be stored in the image in the same way as done for a standard Windows BMP format image, with the exception that the PNG image must be stored in its entirety, with its file header.
In this case, you can see that my Macbook is the only device nearby that I can send these photos to. When I’m in the office, however, I can see icons for many of my coworkers working in about a thirty-foot vicinity of me.
The most important thing, though, is to recognize that there’s no magical investment that can deliver both high returns and low risk. The higher the return investment purports to offer, the riskier it’s going to be, even if that risk isn’t immediately apparent.

“Every VC firm is going to have to take a long hard look at the value they bring to the table and how they remain competitive,” said Brian Lio, the head of Smith & Crown, a cryptocurrency research firm. “What do they have other than prestige? What are they offering to these companies that are more advantageous than going to the community?”
Calling a spade a spade, AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) isn’t without its challenges. Telecommunications have essentially become a commodity, as have cable television offerings. This nagging reality has made it tough for AT&T to grow.

Morningstar’s Pikelny likes four closed-end funds offered by BlackRock. All invest in junk bonds and take on a moderate amount of debt to boost their payouts. The funds have many of the same holdings and similar yields, so Pikelny considers them virtually interchangeable: BlackRock Corporate High Yield (COY, $8, 7.6%); BlackRock Corporate High Yield III (CYE, $8, 7.9%); BlackRock Corporate High Yield V (HYV, $13, 8.2%); and BlackRock Corporate High Yield VI (HYT, $13, 8.1%). All recently traded at close to net asset value. Pikelny suggests buying the one trading at the biggest discount to NAV (or at the smallest premium).
Investors should be aware that a high-yield bond offering 15 to 20% may be junk, and the initial consideration that multiple instances of reinvestment will double a principal should be tested against the potential for a total loss of investment dollars. However, not all high-yield bonds fail, and this is why these bonds can potentially be lucrative.
You must have an OS installed on your mining rig. But, it’s harder to choose with this rig. The thing is Windows is good for mining as you will have good GUI and more of them are currently mining on windows.
Rolf – I appreciate your articles and videos. I hope to have my first miner up in my home in about a week as parts come in. I have two quick questions: 1. What is your set up for running GPU miners at 240V? 2. Have you looked at ASRock H110 Pro BTC+? It can handle 13 GPU’s, and it would seem to be a better investment from a power and hardware standpoint. But I haven’t seen anyone with experience with this board.
