With iOS 7, Apple has introduced the AirDrop functionality for all iPhone 5 models, the fourth-generation iPad, the iPad mini, and fifth-generation iPod touch. AirDrop is simply a technology that allows users to quickly and easily share information between compatible iOS devices. A wide variety of information can be shared, such as: photos, contacts, web pages, notes, iTunes radio stations, and more.
Since miners are overloaded with verification requests, logically, they would choose to mine transactions with larger gas amounts due to the larger incentives. It does not make sense for a miner to use their computing power to verify transactions with lower rewards.
Many connected tokens use smart card technology. Smart cards can be very cheap (around ten cents) and contain proven security mechanisms (as used by financial institutions, like cash cards). However, computational performance of smart cards is often rather limited because of extreme low power consumption and ultra thin form-factor requirements.
ICO file format is also similar to the .ICNS file format that is used for icons on Macs. An icon library can be made to package .ICO files by creating a file with an .ICL extension. In web design, an .ICO file can be used to create a small website logo which appears next to the URL in the address bar.
I also find if you want to use a PC to talk to unix CMDER is your best bet. Super BASH like with git,vim and all the goodies in it. Plus it looks good and it runs claymore output fine remotely as well. Although sometimes if you use screen or TMUX it can get a bit weird on refresh.
Have you looked a shrinking cost/unit by using different components? I hear you on the reliability argument, but since you have a facility in which to work where noise isn’t a concern, why not try server psu with a breakout board? I’m playing around with a unit from parallelminer (from whom you source your rigs) that I quite like. It’s a bit too loud for the test stand at my desk under but I think it would work well in your facility–and it’s a fair bit cheaper than buying 1200w ATX power supplies.
The CUR file format is an almost identical image file format for non-animated cursors in Microsoft Windows. The only differences between these two file formats are the bytes used to identify them and the addition of a hotspot in the CUR format header; the hotspot is defined as the pixel offset (in x,y coordinates) from the top-left corner of the cursor image where the user is actually pointing the mouse.
First of all thanks for all the info which was very helpful. I am interested in building a rig but as far as i can see all the suggested GPUs are very expensive right now and the prices differ from 700$ to 1000$ (GTX 1070-1080 series). My question is, would you recommend using something cheaper like GTX 460-470 4GB series which are around 250$ or any card of that sort anything up to 350$ per say? My target is to build up 1 rig, to see how it goes and then continue building new ones. Worst case scenario i will end up with a monster gaming pc.
Zcash also differs because it has a built-in privacy protocol called zk-SNARKS, which is designed to make it the leading privacy-based crypto in the market (competing with other privacy coins such as Dash and Monero).

Some argue that crowdfunding projects might be Ethereum’s “killer application” given the sheer size and frequency of ICOs. Never before have pre-product startups been able to raise this much money and in this little time. Aragon raised around $25 million in just 15 minutes, Basic Attention Token raised $35 million in only 30 seconds, and Status.im raised $270 million in a few hours. With few regulations and such ease of use, this ICO climate has come under scrutiny from many in the community as well as various regulatory bodies around the world.
IPOs are risky because, despite the efforts make by the company to disclose information to the public to obtain the green light on the IPO by the SEC, there is still a high degree of uncertainty as to whether a company’s management will perform the necessary duties to propel the company forward.
Unless the hash rate is ridiculous and the numbers work out (hasn’t been the case so far) – I don’t like to go too much over $200. The 1080ti is great and has a ridiculous hash rate, but it’s also ridiculously expensive and from a ROI standpoint, it doesn’t make much sense to me. For some, maybe. That’s just my opinion.
You’ll need both connectivity options enabled to use AirDrop. You can do this easily by swiping up from the bottom of your screen on an iPad or an iPhone — that’s your Control Center — and then selecting the WiFi and Bluetooth buttons. If you want to share your phone contacts, you’ll also have to sign into your iCloud account.
NVIDIA’s GTX 1070 holds a top spot in the ZEC mining charts due to its awesome price/performance ratio. A well-configured GTX 1070 provides a ZEC hash rate of roughly 400-450 MH/s, which translates into a $78 monthly profit when mining with a single GTX 1070. As usual, one of the main advantages of using NVIDIA cards is their power-efficiency, so setting up a multi-GPU rig with GTX 1070s can be a very smart move. Given the card’s availability on the market, its price and its resell value (the GTX 1070 is still a very worthy gaming card that can easily run all modern games at max settings at 1080p and 2160p), the NVIDIA GTX 1070 is definitely a worthy pick for your ZCash mining rig.
One of the unique aspects about the DAO Initial Coin Offering was the risk-free investment option, in which a user could always recover the Ether sent on a 1-100 scale, by splitting these DAO tokens, regardless of their market price.
However, the SEC has also acknowledged that ICOs “may provide fair and lawful investment opportunities”. The UK Financial Conduct Authority has also warned that ICOs are very high risk and speculative investments, are scams in some cases, and often offer no protections for investors. Even in cases of legitimate ICOs, funded projects are typically in an early and therefore high-risk stage of development. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) notes high risks associated with ICOs and the risk that investors may lose all of their cash. Increased regulation of ICOs will reportedly encourage institutional investors to invest in them.
